The 8th

Champs Elysées, Luxury &
The Good Life in Paris

When you think of glamorous Paris arrondissements you almost always think of the 8th.

Paris Arrondissements: 1st & 2nd The 8th Arrondissements:
Luxurious Champs Elysées

Perhaps the most famous of Paris arrondissements, the 8th is Place de la Concorde with its romantic fountains.

It's Hotel de Crillon; the US Embassy, the Grand Palais and Petit Palais; the elegant Parc Monceau; and, of course, the Champs Elysées, the most famous street in the world, with flanking parks and luxury shopping.

Like many Paris arrondissements, the 8th is defined by the Seine and certain landmarks. The river is its southern border and landmark points are Place de la Concorde, Place de l'Alma, with its bridge and Eternal Flame, Napoleon's Arc de Triomphe, Place des Ternes, Place de Clichy, and the church of La Madeleine. And don't forget the Arc de Triomphe where the 8th meets the 16th and the 17th.
