Paris Arrondissements –
The 7th

From the Eiffel Tower to Musée d'Orsay –
How Can You Go Wrong?

One of our favorite Paris arrondissements, the 7th, is a triangle with the Seine on its long side and the three tips comprised of the Eiffel Tower, Musée d'Orsay and the UNESCO building.

Paris Arrondissements: 1st & 2nd The 7th Arrondissement:
Landmarks and Residences

Nothing beats the 7th for human-scale, for walkabilty, for markets and for great restaurants.

It's where the Eiffel Tower calls home — a genteel family neighborhood with kids playing in parks in the shadow of Gustave's wonder.

It's also home to Rue Cler, a food lover's paradise – a pedestrian street filled with delicacies only found in France.

The 7th was a favorite of Napoleon as well, and here you'll find the Champs de Mars, L'École Militaire, Les Invalides, for retired and aged soldiers, and the tomb of Napoleon himself.

Paris Insiders Tip

After sunset, the Eiffel Tower is outlined in golden light. And every hour on the hour a light show ignites on the tower. Because it's so tall , you can see it from any of the Paris arrondissements!
